really any mouth call will do. If you call ducks or geese you can run a predator call. Just use your voice and some emotion not just straight blow into it. My go to call I've had since college is the Randy Anderson Ki-Yi. I killed 6 yotes in 4 stands with that and nothing else. I've killed countless yotes with that and a mouse squeaker over the years.Any recommendations on specific mouth call brands? Do you have any moving decoy setup while calling? I want to start calling them in but not ready to drop some change on something like a FoxPro electronic call.
Also, you don't need a FoxPro...I hunted for probably a decade with a Primos Turbo Dog and saw zero difference running that or my buddies FoxPro or LuckyDuck. Infact, during tournaments my buddy started grabbing my Turbo Dog because of a couple of the sounds he liked better on my cheap Turbo Dog. I might by another e-caller as mine took a crap on me finally...but I think mouth calls are more effective. I have also never killed a coyote due to any coyote vocal except a pup in distress or sounding like a whimpering injured adult.
