Thank you all..the buck was 23" wide..I had watched this one and two others during archery season then poof, they disappeared. Hunted them several days off and on and also hunted other areas, where my dad took a nice 3x3 that was also 23" wide. His deer was full muley and prob outweighed mine by 30-40 lbs. Like said, tough hunting but successful in the end.

Great buck. They don’t get a lot bigger then that here. I’ve seen the same thing in x1. See them everywhere all summer until about mid September and then gone.

I have hunted X1 lots in the past..used to be deer all over and now it’s tough to turn up a few does during season..I know the deer are there. I’ve put in my time off the roads and all over and I don’t care what some say, the deer herds are hurting. It’s a sad situation. Thanks for the kind words!
