Anyone else on the waitlist for a CA Titanium? Placed my order last month and was told 4-12 weeks out for shipping

Talked to my buddy. He is a dealer also.
He checked last night. His distributor had them in stock and ready to ship.
Both 6.5s, 308, & 300wm in both Mesa and Ridgeline.

I bought a 300WM Mesa directly from CA through the Pro Staff program. My buddy picked up a Titanium Ridgeline in 300 WM as well.

I picked up a Mesa Ti in 6.5 PRC today. Got it home and put it on the scale...7.1 lbs? I was a bit disappointed as I thought it was going to be a pound less...Does anyone have one they can weigh to confirm?

I'll have to check but I think that's what my standard Mesa weighed.

Edit: I just checked, and mine weighed 7.45 lbs

Thanks Justin...I’m a bit surprised the difference is that minimal, especially with the barrel being chopped 2 inches on the ti. I should clarify, mine was 7 lbs., 1 oz. My dealer is going to call Christensen for clarification on the advertised weight of 6.1 tomorrow. I should also try another scale, but this one has always been spot on.

I'm waiting for the call that my .300 wm Ti is at my ffl. A guy over on LRO just had a long thread going on his new 6.5 PRC Ti Rigeline. Picture of it bone stock, unloaded on the scale showed 5lb 4.7 oz. Sounds like something funny going on with yours. That's a huge difference.

Dealer called Christensen this morning. They basically said the Mesa Ti's are coming in all over the board and they were gonna take down the weight off of the site. He said the variance has been about a 1/2 pound. Mine is a full pound heavier than what they list for weight. I just think it is crazy a regular Mesa with a 24" barrel weighs about the same as my Ti Mesa with a 22" barrel. I'm a bit frustrated as I was hoping this was going to be a nice mountain rifle but the Weatherby Back Country Ti CRUSHES it in just about every category. (Granted the Weatherby is twice the $$$) Don't get me wrong, this is a very NICE rifle, but it is far from being a "lightweight" mountain rifle. With my Nightforce NX8 this thing comes in over 9 lbs. The scoped Weatherby BAck Country Ti weighs 6 lbs 9 oz. That's a HUGE difference in the mountains.

Racer00...Weigh that .300 WM up and let us know what it comes in at.

How in the heck are they having +- .5 lb variance in a rifle? The metal should all be within basically zero spec, I can see a little variation in the stock, but not more than an ounce or two.

As soon as it's in my hands, I'll get it weighed up and posted.

First four shots tonight look good, but they should for a 9 lb. set up! 🤣. First shot 2.5 inches high. 4 clicks down and the next three look good for shooting in a 20 mph wind. Average Chrono speed was 2879 Shooting factory Hornady 143 gr. ELD-X.

That gun weighing that much has me worried. Just past up a helluva deal on the old Ridgeline to wait for the new Ti.

The Ti Ridgeline appears to be coming in at spec or under. I’ve heard 5.4 to 5.8 bare...I have enough light mountain rifles and I had high hopes for this one but no way am I carrying a 9 lb rifle on a sheep hunt when I can carry my Weatherby Back Country Ti ready to hunt at 6 lb. 9 oz.

I have a Kimber Montana in 280ai ready for my sheep hunt. With a Vortex LH fully loaded and 4 extra Rds it’s a 6.62#.

I have a Kimber Montana in .308 with a Nightforce NX8 that is right at 7 lbs. Those Montanas are great for the $$$.
