Buddy panic'd day 1 on the mountain--left me a new solo hunter

I’m finally getting to go this last weekend coming up in Colorado but every buddy I have asked always has an excuse lol

Thanks for the story, well done staying. I do 90% of my hunts solo just for that reason. This yr I took my 12 yr old on a 8 day fly in mountain hunt and was prepared if he wanted to pull out early if he couldn't handle it. We did 70kms plus in 8 days and not once did he complain or even think of going back. The kid is a beast and now I have a hunting partner for life I can trust. So Solo hunting is mostly in the past now.
