This is a good example of why you should apply some string wax to your accessory mounting bolt threads. Helps prevent things from seizing up

I use Permatex anti-seize on the small limb locking bolts on my Prime bows, as well as the limb stops that attach into the cams. In both cases steel screws go into aluminum and over time will want to seize. (Also on my choke tubes on my shotguns, which can seize despite being steel into steel, but they see a lot of heat and crud).
