Breakthrough Clean Technologies...What is the chemical?

stainless
I would just use CLR then, I’ve found it to be very effective for steel 22 baffles, and it’s much less expensive. I soak mine for a day or so and any remaining lead deposits usually just wipe right off with ease. I do use Breakthrough for my aluminum baffles only because most other effective chemicals aren’t aluminum safe.

I just purchased the Breakthrough Clean Technologies cleaning kit. I don't mind paying once to try it but the price for this stuff is beyond ludicrous for continuous applications. I'd like to better understand what I'm buying to see if there is a cheaper alternative. Can 5-10% DMSO be purchased in bulk cheaper?

Re-use the liquid. Let it sit for a while to get solids separated after use.
