Proper hat.
Kings get a bad wrap. I thoroughly enjoy eating them. also looks like a Spanish. Grub.

We had a heck of a day yesterday. 8-12# Gators. Ranging from 30-38". I didn't even get to reel one in, the kid was right there ready to catch the next one. Great day of fishing, landed 12 fish and returned the small ones to grow bigger.

Tonight was some great eating!

Spent every nice day of quarantine teaching the boy the patience needed for bobber fishing. He's picking it up pretty quickly for 2 and a half. I can't wait for it to warm up to get him out more.

My grandson pulled in a 20+" Rainbow while drifting the Missouri in MT last weekend. No pic, but he sure was proud. Released it.

i haven't bass fished in years ...thanks to Covid, i am flat out bored. so i am speed-walking up this steep hillside to train for hunting hiking, and light lining for bass. ultralight stuff. 4-lb line and relatively smaller lures. i am crushing the bass. i only get to fish about two hours, because of work and stuff, but i do pretty well for the limited time. most people are hucking big plugs..i am using small plastics..working them slowly.

my legs are sore from the heavy load in..(i fill my pack with weight in the form of water),,but the first hit, erases the weariness. i may be able to work up to trail running to this lake. i am going to order a float tube and hump that thing in..hehe.
