15 pound catfish caught by accident trolling for walleye about 2 weeks ago

Personal best walleye caught acouple years ago, taxidermist measured it over 31 inch male and caught this channel cat thru the ice acouple years ago on the Saginaw river, scale put it at 9.6 pounds.

Probably my favourite fishing story, took my dad fishing with a friend in New Zealand. Dad had never fished before in his life, maybe held a rod once. Fishing on Lake Roto Iti. Green wool buggers were on and four of us bagged out in about 40 minutes. It was hard to get a line in the water cause someone would hook up almost straight away nearly every time. I spent way more time on the net than fishing. Awesome experience for my dad (I might have had fun too)
