Bow and arrow you shoot? Actual speed?

2012 Strother Wrath,
70lb 28"dl 436 grain VAP at 270fps

Seems slow compared to the rest of you guys.....

compare brace height of the bows listed. Yours is 8 inches... nobody's bow listed has that large of a brace height. I would say your doing pretty good with a very forgiving bow to shoot. And there is alot for 29" plus DL listed. So again not bad for 28" with an 8" brace.

2009 Bowtech 82nd Airborne, Carbon Express Rebel Hunters, Steel Force Sabertooth 125's. The bow is set at 67 lbs, 27.5 draw length, arrows weigh 485 grains and I'm getting 294 fps. I have looked at new bows but this one shoots so well I just can't talk myself into a new one. The only downfall is the draw curve is pretty nasty and a pain in the butt to let down.

2014 Hoyt CST 28" 74 lbs 460gr Easton FMJ arrows Shuttle T's at 285 fps butter smooth and quiet with 83lbs of ke.

Hoyt cst 70 lbs 30". I am shooting Easton axis 300's with brass inserts weighing a total of 500. It shoots 298 fps.

Me thinks some of you dudes have some very generous chronographs, or at least wishful thinking.

I'll play along.

Beeman ICS Hunter 400s (8.4 gpi) at 26 3/8" 100gn tips = 373.9 gn
Calculated 262.7 fps

Target / blacktail / black bear setup.

Bowtech RPM 360, 27"draw, 488 gr arrow, 60lb, 248fps. I have since cranked it up a few lbs, so it's somewhat faster, but have not chrono'd it since. I thought it would be faster, but with a short draw and a heavy arrow, it is what it is.

Reezen 7.0 28" 70lb.
GT pro hunters w/ 100 grains out front = 296fps on the chrono
