Bourbon

Just received a bottle of Eagle Rare as an anniversary gift and it's not bad. I've had smoother but really nice flavor. My wife used it for a little cooking action recently and it made her tomato soup even more amazing!

I just tried Eagle Rare for the first time last night. It’s good for $45-60 per bottle, but any more than that and I’d be out. Hope that doesn’t sound like I’m crapping on it; in that price range there only a few others I prefer.

Weird finish on this one, undecided on what I think about it. It’s interesting at least. Everything up to that is pretty standard.

Well? We’re waiting!!!!
The top of the list is Redwood Empire Pipe Dream cask strength. Then in any order, Wild Turkey Rare Breed (bourbon or rye), Russell’s Single Barrel, Wild Turkey 101 8 year. I like Bulleit just a little better in that price range, but it’s really a different drink entirely Eagle Rare.
