Does anyone do the bountiful basket thing? My cousin asked if I would be up for splitting one with her. I think we're going to do it but I'm wondering about the organic/non organic option. Do you get a better variety if you go non organic or does it matter? Anybody done it? What was your experience with it? I got a dehydrator for Christmas so I'm not worried about having too much. I'll just deydrate what's left over.

We've had an order or two, but I don't remember much of the details. There are quite a few options if I remember correctly, but we didn't go with the organic. The price was good. Seems like some of the veggies/fruit was really good and some was under ripe, sort of typical of pick it before its ripe for shipping. We have friends that take care of the shipment in Montana City and they really like it. We would do it again, but it hasn't been a priority for us.

We get one almost every week. Price is excellent for what you get. We don't do the organic option and have always been pleased with the quality. Great deal.

We get the conventional basket, so I can't speak on the variety difference with the organic. Price is great and good useable variety of fruit and veggie. Its a real plus cause we live 60+ miles from a real grocery store, so having a delivery in our small town is awesome. There are also some interesting add-ons you can choose. I hear the bread they offer is excellent.

We have done several. They resemble what is on sale at the Fred Meyer store in brand and quality. For rural areas they are great. The only problem we have had is with the tomatoes. Both times we have ordered the extra tomatoes they were not good so I wouldn't recommend them. The bulk peaches, beans, tortilias, bread and mexican and italian add ons have all been good. If you live near a good grocery store it might not be worth it but for us it has been.

We used to do it every other week when living in UT but after moving to WA the pick up location is a bit too far away to make it worthwhile. My wife and I really liked it. We figured our $15 share was getting us $25-$30 worth of (non-sale) priced food when compared to the grocery store. What was nice about it was there was a constantly changing variety of things that we wouldn't have bought in the store but enjoyed eating once we had it in the house. Some of the add on stuff was nice now and then like the tropical fruit box or raw honey whenever they had it.

Luckily there are quite a few places around Bozeman to pick up. I wish it didn't have to be Saturday morning to pick up. Kind of means you can't leave on Friday for the weekend. I eat a lot of fruit but I always kind of get stuck on apples, oranges, bananas and frozen berries so I'm looking forward to getting a little more variety. Plus, like I said, I figure I can dehydrate some and have a bunch of food for next hunting season and summer backpacking.

We get them now and then. It is nice because you often end up with stuff that you might not otherwise purchase. Sometimes some interesting stuff shows up in them.
