The response Jake and Ryan asked for concerning "why not use vulgarity?"

Got ya. I mean I have never dropped any F bombs or anything but Ive definetly seen others and have myself used some softer foul language in posts in the past.
Yeah I just wonder why that policy when the podcast is unapologetically vulgar. Not that it matters. I don’t offend easily and I don’t use “foul language.”

Some of the Rokslide employees that run and moderate the site are very much not vulgar, so I would guess that this is a large part of the disconnect between the site and the podcast.

Honest question @Ryan Avery which I’m sure will display my ignorance of all things Internet.

Why is there no swearing allowed on the slide if the podcast is so wide open?
The short answer is that I was outvoted when RS started. Honestly, we already struggle to keep threads on topic without cussing. Imagine how messy it would get if we allowed it. Having a two-way, long-form text conversation is very different from a one-way audio or video chat.

I had a guy messing with my for sale post , I told him to F off , I got a very nicely worded reproach to not use the F bomb from a mod , so I guess it's frowned upon .
