Maybe I missed it as I just skimmed the thread, but I like the William W. Johnstone books for camp. Easy reading.

Labyrinth of Ice by Buddy Levy is a MUST read. You don’t know tough until you read about them boys!

Craig Johnson's Longmire series are some good camp/beach reads.
