I love my Bog Adrenaline shooting sticks, got multiple sets for my boys and I. Starting using the Stoney Point ~2001, and shoot great off of them. Now, I'm almost exclusively predator hunting in South Texas and I find myself having to set my gun down a lot to mess with calls, chair, ets. With the regular U-shaped cradle, I have to set them both down individually. My thought is to drill out the hole holding the cradle to 3/8" and attach an ADM, RRS, 419 style tripod QD mount in with a bolt (not a full ballhead) so I can secure it to my pic or arca rail like a traditional bipod, but pop it off real quick when needed.
Has anyone tried something like this? Yes, I am fully aware of tripods and every bipod out there. This just seems like an easy mod to use the sticks I like while having them connected to my stock. The bolt will allow 360deg of rotation as well.
