Bog bipod w/ ARCA or Pic QD mount?

I love my Bog Adrenaline shooting sticks, got multiple sets for my boys and I. Starting using the Stoney Point ~2001, and shoot great off of them. Now, I'm almost exclusively predator hunting in South Texas and I find myself having to set my gun down a lot to mess with calls, chair, ets. With the regular U-shaped cradle, I have to set them both down individually. My thought is to drill out the hole holding the cradle to 3/8" and attach an ADM, RRS, 419 style tripod QD mount in with a bolt (not a full ballhead) so I can secure it to my pic or arca rail like a traditional bipod, but pop it off real quick when needed.
Has anyone tried something like this? Yes, I am fully aware of tripods and every bipod out there. This just seems like an easy mod to use the sticks I like while having them connected to my stock. The bolt will allow 360deg of rotation as well.

I did something like this. It’s easy to attach Arca clamps to stuff.
Any chance you have some pictures? Any drawbacks or advantages you’ve found to this over regular sticks or a bipod? Thanks

I find an Arca attachment with a QD clamp to be very effective way of attachment. If you want a swivel, that could work.

I favor ARCA attachment for the solid connection and ability to control it with my rifle. Like you said, treat it like a giant bipod attached to the rifle.

I think you need a ball head attached, because you will need the ability to level the rifle and twist it. Simply twisting on the bolt would not allow that.

There are tripods out there that allow you to remove a leg. I would consider that. You can get a basic Neewer carbon fiber tripod that is stronger and more versatile than a bipod set up.

I don’t have any pictures handy of the one that I did, cause I moved on to a tripod. I can treat it like a bipod very easily by pulling a leg up, plus I get the ability to let go of the rifle and it will stay up.

For coyote style fast shooting, sometimes I favor a tripod with a plate and bag because of the need for dynamic movements that I can’t get clamped to the rifle.
