BlackOvis Alternative?

With the sad news of BlackOvis ceasing operations and going out of business - I'm wondering if there is a company that sells similar branded items of clothing?

What I liked about BO was that a lot of their outdoor clothing - was not camo - and could be used for not only hunting, but for 3d/TAC shoots, outdoor work, or just lifestyle. They had such a huge inventory - you could find anything for any type of weather....

The other advantage of BO was the pricing was fair for solid quality. I love how KUIU looks - but my gosh, it is very expensive!

Merino wool, pants, jackets, hats, gloves, etc. BO was my brand for basically everything that I wear.

I'm wondering if there is a similar company that offers similar products in similar solid colors to be geared not only towards hunting, but for lifestyle.

LOVE my Spectre wind jacket.

It is my go to jacket for anything from summer to early fall.

I am lucky to own a brown and grey - and have a backup brown that I bought a year ago.

May catch some flak for it and while I have no experience with their clothing GoHunt has been increasing their line of branded clothing. They seem to be doing a fair amount of in field testing prior to release.

For solid colors Outdoor Vitals maybe. Not an expansive line and while less expensive than Kuiu they don’t run big sales like BO did and I don’t think anyone will be doing that on a regular basis.

If you want camo then Skre is worth looking at plus they have some solid color options too.

GoHunt and Born Primative Outdoors is probably the next equivalent options.

Following for good alternatives too. I Really like the BO one finger mittens and puffy pants I got last year.

Outdoor research, mountain hardware, REI, Patagonia, Arc'teryx, rab, prana. Etc.

back before Sitka made the expensive "hunting" branded clothing aimed at Backcountry hunters popular we used backpacking brands. they were and still are just as good as the hunting brands at a better price.

After the Outdoor Vitals hybrid and pant presale earlier this fall and how much I have liked those two items I would certainly look there.

SKRE makes good quality items.

Badlands looks intriguing but I wish they had more solid color earth options.

I could see GoHunt making a run to acquire the Blackovis/Camofire assets if they have the capital to do so. I think a lot of people would willingly buy what's left of the branded clothing on the GoHunt site, not to mention they'd be acquiring a customer base that overlaps almost completely with their own. Of course, the entire BK process could be such a goat rodeo they won't touch it, but that would be in my opinon, a softer landing than firesales on Sierra...

I would say gearfool is making a run at it. They offered loyalty points for BO/CF members.
