Black Ovis Customer Service Phenomenal/ Alaskan Guide Creations Warranty Amazing

I just wanted to give Black Ovis and Alaskan Guide creations kudos for their phenomenal services once again.

I accidentally bought 3 tripods from Camofire because of a glitch either on my phone or the app. I called to cancel but was unable to get it done. Jake the rep just said they will send me the return labels and have the extras sent back and did not even ask what happened. It was not really their fault but mine. It did not matter they just take care of the problem and move on. Did not have to wait on hold, talked to the same guy both times and answered immediately.

I had a AKC bino cub harness that I had for 8 years, and the rangefinder zipper had broken. It's been a great bino harness and wanted it fixed because you get attached to certain pieces of gear. I sent in the warranty form and my harness expecting to pay whatever it was going to cost to have it fixed. Less than a month later I received a brand new upgraded bino harness at no charge with no requests or requirements. That harness was old, and they did not have to warranty it, but they did no questions asked.

We are blessed as hunters to have some of the best companies in the world to deal with when our stuff fails or wears out. Thank you Black Ovis and Alaskan Guide Creations.

There really is some of the best customer service in the outdoor industry. Blackovis is a pretty unique company for being as big as they are, and also have a cool niche with their branded gear

Their mesa hoody is one of my favorite articles of clothing I have (have 2) and if you look for a comparable hoodie, it doesn’t exist, and the closest thing is not as nice and almost 3x the price

If I’m ordering a pair of boots I haven’t previously owned, they are who I’m buying from because if the sizing is weird, it’s very easy to return through them.

I have never owned anything from AGC, but good to hear they took care of you. There are some tough people to deal with outdoor consumers, and appreciate the companies that rise above that and take care of the customer, it can’t be easy
 
My thoughts exactly. The gun and outdoor industry in general is full of honorable, pleasant people who know enough to build and do the right things. Certainly, there are exceptions, but they don't last long.
 
I had a similar experience with AGC and also Black Ovis. My dog chewed up the little straps that connect your binos to the harness. I called them wanting to pay for a replacement, they just said "naw we got you" and sent me a brand new set of replacement straps for free.

I was looking for a pair of slightly used Crispi Wild Rocks for an upcoming late season hunt and had posted something on this forum. A guy from Black Ovis reached out to me and said call me tomorrow I can get you a good deal on some brand new boots, ordered them over the phone the next day for a really good price. Super easy.
 
Haven't had any issues with my Alaska Guide Creations stuff, so no experience with warranty/repair, but I have had very positive interactions dealing with real people at AGC for questions and support. In a call ahead of an order not long ago I had a question—I forget the specifics—and the guy on the phone was like, "hold on...gimmie a second...let me look...yup, I've put my hands on [whatever] right here...just put a note in the order comments." I have confidence were I to have an issue they would be pleasant and reasonable to deal with based on talking to real people there, not directed to some black-hole email address or canned answer/policy that's become a trend of late among some manufacturers who built their brands on support but have since wandered. Probably hence a contributing reason why I own multiple ACG products.
 
I recently was looking into some zeiss binos and I have a Zeiss rifle scope. I have not had any problems but if it was not for a friend of mine on Rokslide I would not have looked into their customer service more thoroughly. Granted Zeiss does not have all bad reviews and I feel they have a great product based on my experience but they have more bad reviews on their CS than Swarovski and that is a big deal to me. I would always pay more if I know the company will take of me. Thank you for sharing your experiences everyone!! As the old saying goes everyone knows something you don’t.
 
Black Ovis has been great for me with their products and a hoody that was too tight so they sent a return deal for me, no questions asked. I have bought many a product form them and will continue to do so.
 
Ageed on AGC. I had a rangefinder pouch with the magnetic close lid on my bino harness. Somehow the magnet either shifted inside the wall of the case, or lost it's magnetness and the lid wouldn't stay closed. I filled out the warranty slip online and sent it in, and they had a new one headed my way within a week.
