Hey friends. I went down the path this year of wanting a Bino harness without magnets (for personal preferences).

I tried a few different ones and I truly believe I have landed on the perfect setup (for my needs).

My requirements were:

* Made in the USA
* Forward opening, one-handed operation, non-magnet
* Fully enclosed design
* I wanted it modular and customizable for various hunts
* High quality and good customer support

I have landed on the Alaska Guide Creations Ravus Flex model.

This harness is packed full of features and a phenomenal value.

Harnesses are tough because you most likely have to buy online, sight unseen. I wanted to do this video as another option for you to consider, while on your search for the Bino harness that suits your needs.

Previous harness I have tried always lacked something or had something about them that was a thorn in my side.

I had a highly recommended harness that had 2 integrity failures in the first month and their customer service was awful to deal with. Won’t mention their name here.

The video I made is short, please feel free to check it out. I want to start doing more gear reviews for knowledge sharing so please feel free to subscribe to my channel. I will be posting updates on the new harness as the season progresses, have an elk hunt planned too!

Thanks everyone!

I’ve messed with half dozen or so…..bino harness are bar far the worst item to try and figure out (compared to packs, boots, etc).
I’ve settled for now on a kuiu. But it isn’t perfect. And I almost get the last craze (or try in a local store) to try and beat the kuiu but just struggle to justify.

Haven’t messed with this one but may.

Why do you like the agc over the marsupial, kuiu, etc?

All the features it offers with modularity and the craftsmanship that went into it is what sold me. My kuiu failed within a month

I use the Ravus myself and bought it before the new Flex was available. I'm really happy with it, it has been durable, no issues.
I use a Vanandi holster behind the main pouch, and moved the accessory pouch under, rather than on the front to cut down how far "out in front" it felt.
I have used a few different ones, but not all. It gets very expensive being choosy.

Watched the video. Good overview. Then I went to the AGC site and realized the rangefinder pouch is magnetic. Darn.

Next.

In the next 2-3 weeks you should see a non magnetic range finder pouch too. I just talked to them this week on that. I’ll be getting one too. Holster attachment too

Man you aren’t kidding on the expensive part. Big reason why I made the video was to give people more insight before spending $$. I’ve heard tons of good on the vanandi holsters

I've become a pretty big fan of the Vanandi for a holster. All of the universal one's from the bino manufacturers suck. I want secure retention, zero flop, and fast draw. The Vanandi is the only one that attaches to the harness that does all of that.

I arrived to the same conclusion as OP. I also don't use a RF (RF binos), and I have the FHF Nav pouch attached to my left side and the Kifaru Admin pouch on the front Molle and it has been great.

Don’t take this the wrong way, Just wondering are you paid by AGC? Or trying to become a sponsored influencer? Legitimately wondering

Not at all bud. Here to share info. I had a kuiu a few months ago. I just know how overwhelming the options are. There was very few videos out on this model. Thought I’d share. It’s actually a lot of work to make these videos. This 6 minute video about kicked my butt lol. That’s why my videos aren’t great

Do you have any interference with like your actual backpack? Got a pic of your setup?

BTW @jadkins223 how is this for noise. My current Kuiu is stupid squeaky and won't be going on hunts this year due to that.

My kuiu didn’t squeak but made a scratchy noise. This AGC doesn’t squeak either and the material is quiet. I haven’t noticed any noise. I’ll pay more attention to see if I can discern any
