Yeah, it sure looks like he racked up some charges, collected all the airline points in his own name the dropped half a million in unitemized losses as a personal tax write off. Maybe this is normal, but the optics sure aren’t good.

No worries. He is selling gear here in the classifieds. Wonder if RS classified records will get pulled in. Lol. (Truth.)

i get your stance and my original comment was to a dude staking a claim in being part of this and happy about it.

It’s just a terrible situation all around. I hope justice is served to all those negatively affected by these boneheads or some form of it.

"Staking a claim" is a bit of a stretch. When I responded that I felt I was part of the cause of black ovis demise I did so with a wink emoji. I understand that sarcasm can be difficult over text but I tried to make it as obvious as possible. I'm not dumb enough to think that the lack of the few thousand of dollars that I didn't spend at black ovis had anything to do with this.

I can think one thing about the owners who got what they deserve and at the same time feel for the employees who lost their jobs. I have absolutely no joy from the latter. I think we share the same opinion.

In reference to the comment about I must agree with all of any retailers opinions that I spend money at. That is asinine. I am going to spend a bunch of $$ online on hunting gear. I am going to spend that money with retailers who's ethics most align with mine. I (contrary to popular belif on here) will not spend my money with buisnesses that align themselves with convicted poaching influencers. For example, Gohunt is swift at disassociating with poachers. See what they did with muley freak and Lampers. I am less sure if they ever carried bowmar junk but good luck finding any of that stuff on the site now. I happily spent money there even though I am conflicted that they also add to congestion of public lands that I enjoy.
