Black Ovis Camofire Bankruptcy

Hi all, a week or so before Black Ovis suddenly halted operations I returned a pair of brand new Crispi Briksdals ($450) and have not been refunded, and it doesn’t sound like I’m going to be.

I’m curious if anyone else is in a similar boat and has explored ways to get their money back? Really crappy. It seems flat out illegal that I basically had $450 stolen from me by Black Ovis with no apparent way to get it back. There has to be something I can do?

That is very unfortunate. I would assume, your attorney fees and time invested to get the $450 back will cost you more. This is unless you were an attorney yourself, which I have to assume you’re not because you are asking a forum.

Edit to add, disputing the card charge would be your best route as stated above.

I have disputed charges on several credit cards over the years. All of the credit card disputes were successful and I was refunded my charges.

That sucks you gotta deal with that. Makes you wonder if someone is just pocketing money or if the lights are just out and no one is there to answer you? With it being a CC you should be able to dispute it.
