Looking for a Fixed AR Stock with a good recoil pad

I know that ARs usually have hard buttpads on the stock for durability. But when shooting heavier calibers, it is nice to have some cushion. Does anyone know of a good fixed AR stock with a generous and comfortable buttpad? I have some on carbine stocks, but I want to go to a fixed stock. Thanks.

UBR2 is my favorite. Adds a bunch of weight but since it's in the rear, it counterintuitively actually balances better and makes the gun feel a lot snappier.

Yeah, those are still pretty hard. I have a PRS with a Kick Eez on it. I am thinking I may stay with that, even though it is heavier than I want. I have looked at all the replacement buttpads from aftermarket manufacturers. They support most carbine stocks, but not fixed stocks.

I believe Backfire *may* make fully custom pads, down to the caliber weight and everything.

Here's a link to some Sims recoil pads. I'd call them and discuss your shoulder injury with them and see what they can suggest.

308 and 7mm-08, but, I have a titanium rod on my neck and torn shoulders. Recoil hurts after a short period on the range. I need as much comfort as I can get.

Thanks all. The gentleman that suggested the Backfire Backstop recoil pad answered what I needed. They literally have a recoil pad for every stock known to man.

Fair enough! My collarbone was a bit bruised after about 100 rounds of 308 in the prone a few weeks ago.

Boyd's has fixed stocks for ARs, wooden laminate ones with recoil pads. It'd be pretty straightforward to put a softer, thicker one on those if you don't like what they come with.

Yeah, I am trying to adjust what I have. I do hunt with a 5.56 as well. The 7mm-08 is absolutely my favorite cartridge. The 308, brass is basically free at the range. So, I load lower weight bullets and charge loads. A recoil pad to help a little more is less expensive than selling everything I have invested in a cartridge and going to another one.
