Might be late to the party:

Yeah looks like it, I didn’t catch the date on the article.

I imagine more and more ventures like this cep, and asst will continue. They’ll see pumps with potential diminishing returns due to saturation. The ones with the best structure will float to the top. Idk if people aren’t paying attention but so far all of these ventures have people attached who are in the know.

Just thoughts, I could be wrong.

I am seeing it the same way. I am just too late to the party. I definitely pattern has developed if you are on top of it.

Every one of these new publicly traded Bitcoin Treasury companies will push the price of BTC higher when they start buying. This will push the price of MSTR higher and make it possible for MSTY to continue paying out insanely high dividends.

Is anybody worried about Quantum Computing destroying crypto?

According to knowledgeable folks I've talked to, Quantum Computing will break Crypto.

How that will affect crypto remains to be seen but the fact it could go to zero is crazy.

At this point not at all. There’s more value in the world banking system and way easier for quantum computing to break. That is a better target.

There currently isn’t enough energy to match the energy being used to secure btc. One day maybe, probably, but to assume there is not going to be advancements in security using quantum computing which btc or the financial system doesn’t benefit from isn’t taking in the full picture imo. today, this year, 5 years…..Nah

QC's could eventually pose a risk, but we're talking about a ~20 year+ timeline here and
there are proposals and emerging crypto projects experimenting with quantum-resistant signatures and hash functions.

Cathie Wood predicts Bitcoin to grow 24x in the next 5 years.
Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin will be at 49 million (yes, you read that correctly) by 2045. Almost 500x current value.

Michael Saylor is off is damn rocker.

Cathies original prediction was 300k to 1.5M by 2030. If she's right I'll be set. I'll be too old to enjoy money by 2045. You can only eat so much jello.

Coinbase hacked,

Cyber criminals bribed and recruited rogue overseas support agents to pull personal data on <1% of Coinbase MTUs. No passwords, private keys, or funds were exposed. Prime accounts are untouched. We will reimburse impacted customers. More here: http://coinbase.com/blog/protecting-our-customers-standing-up-to-extortionists

I think they handled it the best way possible under the circumstances.

Have her predictions ever been anywhere close to right?
She has made some very successful trades in the past. She also runs Ark Invest with over 6.7 billion in assets under her management. She's had a rough few years but she's still worth a metric shit ton more than I me.

Successful Trades:
  • Tesla (TSLA): Wood was an early and strong supporter of Tesla, investing in the company as early as 2015 at a split-adjusted price of around $13 per share. This investment has generated significant returns for Ark Invest.
  • Bitcoin (BTC): Ark Invest was an early adopter of Bitcoin, purchasing it when the price was around $250 per coin. This early bet on cryptocurrency has paid off handsomely as the price of Bitcoin has since risen significantly.
  • Nvidia (NVDA): Wood began buying Nvidia in Q4 2016 at a split-adjusted price of around $2.10 per share. This early bet on the AI chip maker proved to be very profitable as Nvidia's stock has soared in subsequent years.

Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Quietly Bets $408M on Bitcoin via BlackRock

While most of the crypto world was busy watching charts and memecoins, one of the biggest sovereign wealth funds on the planet made a serious move. We’re not talking about small players here. The Abu Dhabi Bitcoin investment is coming from a $300 billion fund, that’s a serious signal. Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company invested over $408 million into Bitcoin, but not by buying Bitcoin directly.

Instead, they did it through BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), one of the fastest-growing spot Bitcoin ETFs out there. No headlines, no Twitter threads, just a quiet, calculated entry into the world of digital assets.
