I was buying a new bino holster from gunfighters inc when it asked if I wanted to pay with Bitcoin. That got me wondering if there are any reputable gun dealers, optics dealers, or bow shops with an online store that are accepting bitcoin as a form of payment? I've got a couple of bigger ticket items I plan to pick up in the near future and this would make the purchase simpler for me. Does anybody here know of any? Preference to site sponsors obviously.

Normally anyone that takes bitcoin or crypto is a scam. So I had to go look at gunfighters site and sure enough their real site not only takes bitcoin, but gives you a 10% discount.
I'd be really really sure it's legit before I did.

when you pay by bitcoin, you have to enter a super long account number or?

BTC payments are typically very simple, either you scan a QR code or you can copy and paste the address. you don’t have to manually enter the receiving wallet address.

You get their wallet ID and send it to it. Typically a copy and paste. I always confirm the number by checking the last 5 or 6 digits because that's the easy place to be scammed if it's one of those auto copy buttons.

Frankly, I'm not sketched out one bit by paying in crypto.

Then you should go shop on of probably close to 1000 sites that have your favorite powder, bullet and guns that haven't even been made since 2020 fully in stock and ready to ship. Unlimted quantity. Want 300 brand new Barrett fieldcrafts? In stock! How about 100lbs of RL26? No hazmat fee. Bitcoin or zelle only. Might even be 95% off for bitcoin if you spend enough.

Just because im not afraid of crypto means im somehow stupid and want to get scammed? Solid logic.

No one mentioned the very obvious scam reloading sites. The OP mentioned a well known holster manufacturer though. Sounds like you fell for that one before and now blame it on payment method.

If it's too good to be true, it normally is. Its not automatically a scam if they accept bitcoin though.

I have not. It's just so common, anytime they accept bitcoin it should give you a giant pause. Even if it is a well known manufacturer. I own bitcoin. A lot of it. It's the worst currency ever so far. Pieces of 8 were more useful to this point. It's one hell of a store of value.
I was surprised that gunfighters took it, so I went to their site to see for myself, but even when I saw they did, I immediately started looking to see if I didn't quite have the correct site, or some other more complex scam that looks exactly like their site. Even though I'm 95% sure they do, if I were to pay them in bitcoin, I'd go to my email and pull up a previous order from them and that phone number, not the one on their site, and call them and verify. It's just so rife with scams that the average person cannot use it safely, and I'd never recommend people do so.
Any time I transfer anything it gets test transactions in very small amounts first.
