^^^ call this dude... I’ve got a cheap pair of Vortex for the boat and ballgames, but wouldn’t want to spend 5 hours behind them on a hill. I got my Nikon M7 on a display discount and that is a fine way to go if you want to save a little dough.

I just picked up a new pair of Monarch 5's in 8x42 for around $250. These have the same ED glass as the 7's but just a little less FOV. Used them out in the woods the past few weeks and am really impressed with them.

Maven C1s are great. I’m very happy with mine. If you want cheaper, I wouldn’t hesitate to go for the Vortex Diamondback.

I have Vortex Diamondbacks 10x50 and like them for the cost. I am currently saving up for some SLC's and when that happens I will pass these on to my son.

Celestron Trailseekers are good for the money, IMO. I upgraded to some Leicas this season but they served me very well for only $200.

Without a doubt after looking through several and owning two pairs of vortex Diamondbacks.

My Bushnell Legend M's blew my Diamondbacks out of the water in every category and also come with the same warranty.
