Beware of rtic coolers

Just me but I would feel like a hack just buying anything from them...what a bunch of Douches.

Just looked at the RTIC website and it says coolers warranty 7 years, all other products 90 day warranty. Where is the info they changed cooler warranty to 90 days?

I would avoid at all cost. I know Field and stream just did a cooler shootout give that a look.

For what it's worth, I have a buddy that received his tan RTIC cooler. He did a quick test at work, filled it with ice and just let it sit. I think he said it lasted a week. Mind you, it was inside, out of direct sunlight, and he wasn't in and out of his cooler. I think realistically he could expect 3-4 days of bowhunting unless he used dry ice underneath. What's with all the bashing on Kuiu? I have a lot of Kuiu gear and have never had to wait for it.

I bought 2, 30oz tumblers and they leak bad around the lid. The customer care have been a pain to deal with thus far. They hold ice like a Yeti but overall craftsmanship is lacking.

Had nothing but great luck with both my coolers, all 4 tumblers, 4 lowballs and 4 koozies. They actually screwed up my order on the 4 koozies and sent 4 lowballs on accident, I called them and they said keep the lowballs and we will send you out koozies.

Who charges a credit card and takes five months to ship? Outrageous.

If you guys have ever tried to start a company you would know it takes a lot of money. Dont hate on people trying to make a living and a great product. If you dont want to wait for a product then dont order something on back order. I have never had any trouble getting items form KUIU that are IN STOCK.

Everyone needs to chill.

Crazy way of looking at things. A forward thinking company has product IN STOCK or very close to it.

Kuiu is the exception, and G*d only knows why...it is why I only buy their products pre-owned.

I just received the 45 tan that i ordered in feb. It showed up 2 months earlier than the website said it would. Took about 2 months. Super happy with it. Great construction and holds ice really well. I did a quick 2 day test between it and a 50 coleman extreme. The coleman had a ton of water and the rtic ice looked almost as good as when i put it in. Would have let the test go longer but i floated the madison on sat and couldnt wait to use it.
Anyone know when they are going to release larger models? I could use a 120 for camping
