Best way to carry bow in backcountry?

I have the Kifaru gunbearer but have never thought of using it for carrying my bow. Would appreciate a pic of your setup as well Roosiebull.

I have no idea if this would work with one of the big multiday packs...but I bought the Bow Hanger Hooks from Marsupial, rigged them to the side strap on my (Kuiu) bino harness, and carry the bow hands-free under my bow arm. Really like it so far.
This is my 41st archery season coming up, and my bow is a bit of a meat stick. Meaning it takes a beating and I don't care if it's old (it is), or if the finish looks worn (it does), if the moleskin is fraying (you bet) or if the cams have cosmetic chips in them (they do). I shoot it well out to distance and have lost count of the number of critters it has killed; I want the bow accessible and will not use a cover on it.

Thanks for the pictures! Do you feel like you could use trekking poles with this setup or no? I've got a knee that is giving me some trouble and trekking poles seem to help. Wasn't sure how free your arms were with the setup.

Side note: I'm not normally into tattoos but yours are pretty cool!

Yeah, it’s not a problem, I’ve used poles with that setup several times

Custom made paracord works for me. I clip on front of the rizer that way I can unsling it and still shoot with it to the side if I have too. If i'm packing up or out ill strap to back to of pack while I'm using trekking poles.
