Best Headlamp for under $50 ??

My Blackdiamond spot recently quit working and I am curious as to what you guys have found to be the best/most reliable headlamp? I'm on a college student budget which explains the under $50. I rely heavily on a good bright headlamp as I (like most of you) do a lot of solo backcountry hunting. Thanks for your time.

While close to you budget, for $64 you should look at the zebras http://www.zebralight.com. No plastic housing, waterproof and extremely bright. Also zero battery pack on the back of your head.

recently asked this same question in my own thread about lighting. Ended up with a Zebralight 502 Flood. Its a really nice light at just under 300 lumens for the price Dot has stated above. Biggest suggestion was just get a zebra and never worry about another light again.

I have used a cheap $30 walmart Energizer headlamp for 5 years with no complaints. It is not as bright as the others, but between my brother and cousin none of us have had a issue with ours in the 5+ years we have had them.

I just purchased these two headlamps on ebay for a combined total of $32. Both are brand new and seem like great editions to my arsenal of backpacking/hunting equipment.

While not zebralight, which is what I would have preferred, I couldn't pass them up at that price.
