Was out practicing yesterday and today. The rifle is a B series Rem 700 in 30-06. Got the barreled action for $350. Got the macmillan classic for $350 off the specials list. Had it professionally bedded for $150. Put a SWFA 6x scope on it. Barrel is stock and is 22" long. This group was shot from a sitting position using a bipod at 700 yards.
Thought that might be a fluke so did it again this morning and got same result. Remington 700s bedded into stiff stocks have always performed well for me.
