long story short i built a 1022,with all kidd parts its accurate but not good enough for what i want to do. my question is whats the best bolt gun i can buy and mod to do some serious shooting.please only comment if you have experience if you shoot nrl22 that would help.

I think if you’re looking for something to do mods to and have a solid package the CZ457 is the way to go. There’s plenty of aftermarket available for them. I have a cz457 with their match barrel and an mdt xrs chassis that I use for plinking with the kids.
A couple of guys I work with shoot NRL22, one ran a 457 built up and the other a ruger precision. They both ultimately ended up going the rimx/ voodoo route after a few years.

I just spent a few weeks going down this rabbit hole and ended snagging the cheapest CZ 457 with a heavy threaded barrel that I could find. Call it $550 bucks at my cost as an FFL. Gonna toss it in the same KRG Bravo stock as my competition rifle and use it for NRL/PRS22 shoots locally as practice for my NRL-H matches.

Not doing NRL22 but have a fair amount of time amongst most of the options.

All of them you are going to need to try different ammo to see what works. Eley is much thinner at the rim than others - some rifles love it and some hate it.

CZ457 MTR is pretty darn good. Area 419 sells both a mildly upgraded one as well as one with a Lilja barrel for pretty reasonable. The Lilja CZ would be the "Easy button"

Bergara B14R is great if you have other Rem 700 actions. You can largely run the same triggers/etc.. For off the shelf you definitely want the "steel" version - carbon is less good.

Tikka t1x is great if it meets your needs. By the time some of my needs/wants are checked (Arca rail, adjustable comb, threaded barrel), I am at the price of some of the other options here...

Beyond that, you are going to want a scope with closer parallax range (25 Y or less)

If in all this you start swapping stocks, etc... anyhow, I'd look at a "lego" off the shelf option:
A&J sells heavy barreled Bergara B14R actions with 20" barrels and optional scope mount and triggers. So that+chassis and a few mins of work = pretty phenomenal build for the coin. You can then be running the same magazine form factor (AICS), trigger, stock/chassis, etc... as your 700.

No experience but my next 22LR build is probably: Modacam MPA Elite Action with a Brux barrel, KRG/XLR/MDT Chassis, and tacsport trigger. Not off the shelf, but it's probably together in 15 mins after I get home. The only thing that has me pausing is the new DPG Genesis 22LR and Elemental Snapdragon.

Said one more time: ammo matching is key and most of these can be 1/2 MOA with that. Even lot to lot may or may not work out for your action/barrel.

Tikka off the shelf.

Love my Tikka. All I’ve done is adjust the trigger. These are subs. Sorry it’s not 10 shots. I saved the other bullets for critters View attachment 1046679

Tikka 22s are a whole step away from their centerfire rifles, they are nasty cheapened things that are riding on the coattails of their other rifles.
Everything is cheapened, the magazines are garbage and last no time with heavy use and are really expensive to replace, so much more plastic and cost cutting everywhere you look, for not a lot less money.

Not discounting your experience, but not everyone shares this opinion. My T1X magazines are going strong thousands of rounds in.

You lost your mind.
Stocks are just like the t3x,not great.
Mags are the weak link but do fine.
So you have to buy a few extra mags or a better mag, maybe. But you have to rebarrel some of the others mentioned to get the same accuracy.
Overall out of the box like the guy ask the tikka is more accurate than most.

My tikka came threaded.

The bergara b14r and the cz457 are usually just as accurate as each other.
Deciding factor will be whether you want a rem700 platform of not.
I have big hands so I prefer the aics pattern mags of the bergara over the fiddly little cz mags. YMMV!!

The cz457 mtr stock feels amazing to me and is usually far too pretty to smash on barricades and such. Would make a great bench rifle though.

What kind of groups are you seeing for 10 at 50 and 100 with the factory Tikka?

I was also less than impressed with the T1x, If yours worked for you, great, mine was just annoying. It was very accurate but I hated the mags sticking out the bottom, it rusted if there was even rain in the forecast and the tight tolerances (which probably made it accurate) made id stick up really fast when shooting suppressed. Additionally, it didn't feed lots of different ammo reliably, unfortunately it didn't feed reliably with the CCI sub sonics which are what I wanted to shoot. it would nose them into the feed ramp and id be out there messing with it while my buddies continued to shoot birds.

If they made those things in stainless and found a way to use a 10/22 magazine, then they would be unbeatable.

Savage makes a 22 just for NRL22, it comes in an MDT (I believe) chassis, my friend got one and loves it. Personally id only be looking at 22s from CZ, Ruger or one of the semi custom off the shelf rifles from tacsol or volquartsen.
