Benelli/Franchi “Click”?

Just bought an affinity 3 compact in 20 g for run and gun turkey, often with my 11 year old. A few boxes of target 7.5s, a box of high brass 6 shot, and maybe a box of longbeard 3” 5 shot without mishap. We have a pile of clay bird cases at camp so will see if anything fails. I’ve got confidence in the gun so far and hopefully that doesn’t change. This thread makes a guy nervous though.

Did you find a carrier latch?
I have not. Franchi says they have them in the warehouse, but won't sell to me direct. Pointed me to Midwest Gun Works, who is out-of-stock. Called MGW, they could only tell me they were expecting a Franchi shipment but not if that included this part. That shipment should have come in last month, so I find myself frustrated.

I know have somewhat of a shotgun fetish. Been shooting Trap every other weekend to improve my field shooting. The Lefty Xplor A400 in 12 shows 6.7 pounds and has so many killer reviews. Neat looking wood with lazer burn and a pinch of class. Whole set of stock shims. Think I will go this route and squash the whole sub gauge craze

I picked an a400 up today.

Just an fyi
I know guys say you can’t close the bolt softly on these guns… With my affinity you can simply drop the bolt softly & use your thumb to rotate the bolt into battery if you’re trying to be quiet.

They do. That's why I got excited. I thought from reading some of your posts you were "Challenged" also.

Never seen one in person. But on paper they sure sound like a win. Quoted at 6.7lbs for the Xplor. I've handled a few RH Xplors. I think I am gonna swing at one when the sock drawer gets full enough
