Last trip I took a kudu, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, reedbuck, and nyala with 215 bergers. None made it more than 50 yards and the hartebeest and nyala did not take a step. I am not a fan of Barnes so it will be interesting to see the ELD side by side with the Barnes.

Yes,that is what I would like to see as well, Barnes vs Hornady.
Were these distance shots?
30 Nosler?

Last trip was a 300 WM. BW was about 325. The reedbuck was 450. The nyala was about 50. The hartebeest was around 200-250 I did not have time to range it. The kudu was around 40.

If the rain doesn’t stop here it could be another 3-4 weeks before I get the last bit of data collected.

I’m hoping the ol’ classic 300wm surprises and shows why it’s been a trusted caliber for so long. Also interested to see how the factory 215 Berger shoots compared to everything else. Your group you posted with it was impressive. Seems like that ammo makes reloading almost pointless with the 300wm.

Guys I still have some clean up to finish but the rain will not stop. Most fields around look like lakes.

I hear that. I have two fields that the levees held, the rest of the county is wiped.
The whole Midwest is still swamped.

It looks like it did in 98 around here. Apparently the weather doesn’t understand I’ve got load development to do.
