Opener this past Saturday was a giant cluster fluck of people. Every access point at a minimum of three rigs parked by it.

Basically thinking about hanging up the bow until maybe the end of the month going into October.

But there's a 50%+ chance of rain. I've spent entire weeks spiked out hunting in the rain. Just wondering if it'll be enough to keep the amateurs at home.

I know some guys will stay home because they're afraid of losing blood. Like they're guaranteed to kill.

You guys going or stay if rain is in the forecast?

Just want to mainly sit back and glass. But would be nice not to have to deal with a lot of people. Nothing like leaving the truck at 3 am to have guys pull in behind you at 530

I’m with you on the pressure, makes it hard to enjoy when you’re bouncing between dudes everywhere, and they are all in a race.

I would tend to agree with you on the bad weather thing, it does help a bit.

It really sounds like you're more interested in being alone than hunting.

I like to hunt. Sometimes there's people around. That's just how it goes.

I pretty much hunt whenever I can, and just roll with what the weather's doing. Hard to change the calendar in a big way at this point, for me anyway.
