Bad Elf GPS?

Anyone have expierence with this gps? A buddy got one and seems interesting. What are your thoughts? Thanks guys.

Just took a quick look, intetesting little gadget. The elf is GIS grade, much more than you'll need if you're just looking to find camp or your truck. Depends on your accuracy needs I suppose.

I've used a bad elf pro for recreational flying connected to an iPad...accuracy and battery life are both good.
