I wouldn't want anything longer than the 19" on my saddle. The end would be under the saddle bags. I second guessed it too, before I used this one. Granted, I just throw it in the packhorse panyards unless I'm rolling with one horse.

Thanks, he's a good one! That was a quick scout trip. There is a lot more hanging off it when I'm hunting. I also run it with a britchen during the season.
