I'm in New Zealand, we don't get as cold as you guys but I have a few set ups.
Summer/Deep Backpacking- Toaks 750ml, MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe, Sea to Summit Ti Spork
Fringe Seasons I have 2 options- Jetboil Flash if I know I'm only gonna eat dehy or Jetboil Minimo if I think I might cook in it.
Winter/Helicopter Hunts- MSR Whiperlite International, there is a reason liquid cookers are still around and its cause they plain work. Can last with a bottle of white spirits cooking a lot longer than a small gas canister. Perfect for cold environments.

Weights:
Toaks Setup- 421grams with canister
Flash- 400grams by itself
Minimo- 444grams by itself
MSR- 770grams with full fuel can

Soto Windmaster for the stove. If I'm heating water for just me a toaks 750ml, but if kids family are with me I have a 900/1300 Evernew pot set I can break into. An always a long Ti spoon.
