I want to go back to a different fork of the Gila.

Wilmore Provincial Park in Alberta. I want to see it because I had a moose bow hunt postponed last September and I am holding my breath waiting to see if Canada opens the border in time for this September! That, and I have heard it is really beautiful.

eastern Russia appeals to me. Kamchatka etc. float trip on a river there i'm sure would be great

I don’t understand the point of saying something along the lines of “I know a really pretty place to look at but won’t tell anyone.” Just go back to your hermit shack already.

That said, I want to see all of the US’ national parks. Other places too, but that’s a worthy starting list.

I understand it very well.

What I don't understand is wanting to travel from one gated park to another.

People have different ideas of what is worth protecting, what is precious. Pretty simple really.
