Great Trip

My first Muley, the small one. My buddy's, about 165", and one I found, about 160"... One of the highlights of the trip was sitting by the campfire in a t-shirt with my hometowns weather on my phone -18*6561.jpg6569.jpgIMG_20160918_033129611.jpgIMG_20170106_172450442.jpg

Are you guys seeing any quail and quail hunters around in these areas? I'm usually bird hunting in January but a combo trip for a few weeks sounds like a lot of fun.

Yep. Handled half a deer just fine. Lots of pockets and accessories. My last pack was a blue widow eberlestock and this one fits and handles weight better.

Ok so I know I am behind the curve, but was unaware of this forum until recently. Has been awesome reading all the great stories and seeing some sweet bucks on the ground. I am in central AZ, and have like many of you been out chasing bucks. Let's just say I am looking forward to August...

What originally brought me here was a search for information on Colorado. My buddy and I bought preference points last year, and I am looking for some info or help with where to go in CO. We are looking to archery hunt, but we are not really set up to hunt high altitude or backpack 10 miles into the wilderness. I think we are both in decent shape, but that's a whole nother level. I have read a lot on the CO game and fish site, as well as on other forums, but still not found what I'm looking for.

If anyone could offer some help it would be appreciated. I would certainly trade any info on Arizona. I don't know every unit, but quite a few, and could help anyone with putting in for the draw or whatever.

Thanks in advance, DG.
