AZ Deer Association Raffles

Anyone know anything about the AZ deer association? I get emails quite often for fundraising raffles and have entered a few but I am typically skeptical of organizations unless I get to know them. The raffles are usually limited tickets sold at $20 and usually for a custom rifle or Swaroski binos etc. I like to throw a little money in the hat for hunting and conservation type stuff here and there and the lure of some pretty awesome prizes doesn’t hurt either. Just curious if anyone here is a member or knows if it’s shady or a good legit group.

They’re legit. I’ve entered my fair share of raffles without winning anything and ironically, have entered so many times, I could have just purchased the item outright!

Yeah, that’s why I usually do too I never plan on winning anything, that is a nice bonus once in awhile I just wanted to make sure the money I donated was going to a good group and that the raffles seemed legit. Thanks!

I threw $20 at the Arizona Antelope Society for their $2500 or Swaro 12x42 Pure binos raffle last week. I got a call today that I won my choice! 1:350 odds, sure wasn’t expecting that.

I’m going to take the binos. I have SLC 10x42 HDs at the moment. I’m going to TX for Aoudad next month so I’m going to take both and then decide which I’m keeping. I’m guessing I’ll want to keep the Pures and I’ll sell the SLCs. We’ll see. 1st work problems for sure.
