Hello just wanted to bring this to anyone's attention that was unaware. I assume this is the correct place to post?
The ATF has for a long time been tramping on citizen's rights to keep and bear arms as protected through the 2nd amendment to the constitution. The DOJ does not have the ability to write laws. Though they have constant rulings with no actual law behind them and are currently trying to once again turn millions of otherwise law abiding citizens into felons.
There is a open comment period (of course around Christmas when everyone is distracted) at https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=ATF-2020-0001-0001
Only 12 days left to leave a comment on this at time of posting.
These devices have previously been approved by the same agency that is now directly wanting to ban them. I know most here are hunters and this won't "apply" to you but in the end we all need to stand together against this government overreach that will turn millions of us into felons with the stroke of a pen over a piece of plastic.
