At 36 it happened.....

Man...I envy you guys that have the time to read for fun.
I was the opposite of OP...I was reading Gary Paulson and Micheal Critchon books for fun in grade school.
I read a few articles on Cowboy State Daily now and then...and too much here. I sure hope i can find time to enjoy a book again at some point in life.
I make a point of reading daily. Just a little bit, usually as I'm laying down to sleep.

Deer stand season is coming, and an all day sit is a great time to catch up on a little for my ADHD a$$. Read a page, look around, slowly turn page, repeat.

Books that I’ve loved. Historical fiction mostly.
Blood and Thunder
Green Hills of Africa
Something of Value
Labyrinth of Ice
Empire of ice and Stone
I really began enjoying reading in my early 30’s before that I hated it

I feel the same way about books as I do music. When in school I played music for the learning, now I play what I want for enjoyment. Same with books. I read what I want and learn about what I want. It’s freeing

I’m a little over halfway through the Joe picket series in the last year and a half. Awesome series!
