So he moved the company to the state of his choice, goes hunting seemingly all the time, and he was in a funk? I don't understand it, but ok. Best of luck to everyone I guess.

The one thing I’m curious about is how the employees that uprooted their lives feel regarding all of this. Granted, Wyoming is a million times better than Colorado but that was still a huge decision.

sounds like it might just be a better fit for him and they're gonna let him do what he wants.

Born primitive “allow me, and want me to be me now with my new position”.
Interesting. Wish Aron the best!

I suspect Aron was pushed out probably by the other shareholders like Chad/bj
I feel like I have seen something similar in the government recently 🤔

Did Aron fall up any stairs recently?

I wish Aron and kifaru well, I did not see that coming this soon. What happens to kifaru now? Hopefully they take it in stride

I don’t want it to take 6 months to get my pack when the K5 is released

All the best to you Aron!!!

And wish him the best in his new position with BP.

He moves the needle wherever he goes.

Will be strange to think Kifaru without Aron, though!

And for the FNGs around here, if it wasn’t for Aron, this site wouldn’t exist.
He absolutely blew up kifaru too. He made it hugely popular. He knows what is best for him, and he’s in a position to live life however he wants, I would never fault anyone for that

Makes great business sense. He is likely keeping a stake at Kifaru, some percentage of profit on a very mature brand that is in the top of its lifecycle to focus on a growth brand that could see 200-500% growth over the next 10 years and appeals to significantly more customers as a brand.
Well done Aron!!

I was thinking the same thing. They need Frank to come back and save that company.

He mentioned something in his video about being in a bit of a funk and BP lit the fire under his ass which seemed to influence his decision to leave. Wonder what kind of changes we're going to see.
Anders and Eric are smart guys. I think they will be able to get things back on track.

I read he sold all his shares. No ties left to the company. Seems like the relationship went south for some reason.

Most of us probably love a good ribeye, but if you had one for lunch and one for dinner every day the magic would likely start to fade.

I feel hunting is the same way (as are most recreational activities). Get to a point where you do it all the time, and the magic leaves. It's a wise man who realizes how much is enough.

I know a guy who went down the whitetail hunting media route, and it simply lost a lot of it's pull. Now he's enthused about pointing dogs and upland birds, but just on a hobby level.

It's probably not true for everyone, but I'm not surprised he found himself in a funk.
