I’ve done that hunt twice as a NR still nothing to show for it except memories. Saw plenty of sheep but no shot opportunities.

Yeah..it's definitely not going to be a walk in the park! I live here in Anchorage. So hopefully I can get some scouting time in around the other seasons

Would love to hear the story! Did he pattern him really well and ambush? I know they can be creatures of habit, fantastic old ram with a stick bow is incredible!

It's only a 10 day season.. I plan on being out there as many days as needed.

There is nothing easy about an archery ram. It’s easy to see a dead sheep with some guy standing over it, but all those dead end climbs prior to killing the ram can’t be explained. I also like the fact most archery (not all) are from guys who look like they can walk!
