I have an irrational fear that someday I am going to accidentally send someone the middle finger emoji when I mean to send the thumbs up emoji . . .

I’m not surprised to read this crazy story,
with a higher number of idiots that think they can shoot stuff over 400 + yards
across canyons with miles to cross just to reach the animal if it is DRT , much less wounded, I’ll bet lots of people can fill a tag on wounded or found animals

yes I am anti LDH because of the idiots that are incompetent trying their luck

Wow the memes in this thread did not disappoint.

BUT, am I the only one who thinks anyone who doesn't have a level on his scope, and talks about long range, doesn't know crap about long range.
So he didn’t have a level on his scope?

Do I really need to show my shocked face again?

If Rachelle had shot at the deer from a reasonable range, it would probably be in her freezer. Plus some other long ranger couldn't have snaked her out of it. That doesn't excuse a poor sportsman bully from his part. Hopefully they both learned a lesson, but I doubt it. Both 100% wrong. But between the two, the dude with the cowboy hat should have known better. He needs to take up golf or synchronized swimming.

I saw something the other day that pointed out how we need a sarcasm punctuation mark because of how we communicate through digital media these days. Actually makes perfect sense.

I mean, it was 2 years ago or so, but I really tried to get the @ to take off as meaning sarcasm.

Man, the he said she said stories are tough. They both come off as reasonably credible but he knew she shot it first. I think he should have walked away congratulating her. Especially given his position and the damage this will inevitably do to his reputation.
Any human, especially an experienced hunter, that would do this, instead of helping a less experienced hunter, track and kill a deer that they shot first, is a POS. Period. No faith in the world will change that.

The man said himself she shot it first. The man is lying if he thinks that a hole in a deer’s abdomen, plugged by cull fat, isn’t going to be fatal. And, the ethical quandrum created by acting like this is something he will carry to his grave.

Who in the world would act like this? In my opinion, it’s so obviously clear he acted in a way that enabled him to legally claim the animal.

I’m sure his recall of the incidence once both groups met in the “oaks” is true. He admits he was rushing to get the buck shot once on the track. That is a fact they both admitted.

From 700 yards away, you’d see a collar through $50 barska bino’s. And, his zeal to “track” up the deer was driven by his gut feeling of knowing it was exactly the same deer being shot at. And, the only way to out right legally claim it was to put the last killing shot in it.

I hope his future sees him become a career bag boy at the local grocery store.
