Not super applicable to hunting, but there's a lot of knowledge on this forum and I'm super curious. Jandd is a California-based company with a website that looks like it hasn't been updated since 1999. It looks like they use quality materials. 500d Cordura across the board. Made in Mexico, I think.

Besides that, I can't find much info. Pretty much no chatter about them online. I was looking at their daypacks at first, but their multi-day packs look interesting and very, very old school. The Goliath pack apparently expands to 8900 cubic inches!

Anyone have experience with Jandd stuff?

I've used some of their cycling wares in the past, and they are good quality. They've been around for years and people trust their panniers to ride around the world, so that says something. I have never looked at their packs, but as you mention, they are not hunting oriented, but that won't stop them from carrying a load. If they carry it as well as some of the other big names, and boutique brands, that's another story.

I am not familiar with the Jandd products either, thank you for bringing them to light. From the lack of response here I assume there is little Rokslide experience with them.

But I'm going to piggyback a question on your thread anyway to bring it back up-

Anybody able to compare the Jandd Medium Fanny Pack (http://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FMFP) with the MR Hip Monkey (http://www.mysteryranch.com/hip-monkey-2)? Features seem pretty similar but what about build quality , etc.?
