Anyone been to Africa on a plains game hunt? Curious how long ya waited for your critters to come stateside. It’s been over a year now for me. Been told critters are ready but waiting on a purse I had made for my wife to get done. Been hearing this since September

Ours got to Chicago early last week from Namibia. We hunted the last two weeks of May last year. Our PH got the hides and horns to the taxidermist/expeditor in July of last year. Approx 10 mths. Got to our taxidermist in Kentucky yesterday.

I recall it was about a year to get mine. Minus my giant Impala that someone must’ve wanted more than I did…

I hunted with Motshwere 4 years ago and still don't have my trophies. My friend got his after 3 years. They used to be pretty quick when they used Swift Dip, but they started their own in house dip and pack called Preymentos. Since then, a lot of people aren't getting their stuff for years and when they do, they often don't get the right trophies.

Than you. Not what I wanted to hear but not much a guy can do about it I suppose

I went not long after you posted this. I had a decent enough time, however I will say I left with some "yellow" flags about how business is done at this particular outfit. There were some weird things that happened and something in my gut just felt a bit off the whole time. I will say Preymentos has been very good about sending out updates so far via email however I will keep you posted on if/when I get my stuff back. Like you said, not much a guy can do however I went with a big group and a lot of $$$ was spent at both the main outfits desk and the taxidermy. I can only hope they hold up their end of the bargain...
