Has anyone here used the Maven B.3 6x30 binos?

I want a small pair of binos for quick looks in deep timber for when I’m on the move. Really wish Swaro had some in the NL line but these seem like the highest quality optics I can find that fit the bill.

I have the 8x30’s and they’re amazing for turkey hunting and general deer hunting these Southern pine woods where it’s thick and most sight distance is 200 yards and in.

They leave some on the table regarding low light and hunting AG /ROW spots where glassing 400-600+ yards is possible.. but their light weight, glass clarity and overall compactness still keeps them in my “go to” gear pile.

I have the 8x30s- I ended up choosing them over the 6x because FOV is about the same as the 6x30s and figured they would have a little more general utility, but I still find myself wanting something with less magnification and more FOV/ light transmission.

I am tempted to try the Kowa 6.5s as they have a much larger FOV.

B3 6x: 446fov 16.1oz
B3 8x: 430fov 16.6oz
Kowa 6.5x32: 525fov 18.5oz

Swaro used to make some 6-7x. I think they are unobtainium now, but I also haven’t looked.

I have the 6’s and the 8’s. I was gonna compare and sell one. I really like em both, and now that my son is old enough to hunt , I’m keeping them both. I don’t notice a huge difference between the two. He likes the 8’s better so I usually take the 6’s for bow hunting. Both r great little binos.

Interesting. Thanks guys. I saw those Kowa, but I’ve never heard much about their binos. I love their spotting scopes and prefer them to Swaro, but it doesn’t seem their binos get any attention.

I have 8 NL on my chest on archery hunts, but sometimes find myself looking through my rangefinder just for a less magnified view. Figure I could get that with both eyes in a super compact unit. Might try the demo program with Maven.
