Any Hog Hunters Here..?

Love me some Pork..
And it's probably the most fun hunting I do. Fast and Furious..AR 6.8 or the Browning Auto 5 .
We hunt them in the swamps and wet Pine flatlands most all around my house.
Good fun after the Deer Rut is over.

Nice mess of whole roasters...we don't hunt them much here, traps are way easier.

Traps are easier but nowhere near the Fun.
I got a 300 Lb. Feeder 200 yards behind my house and could just sit there and wait for them..But that AR or Auto 5 and a Creek bottom stalk with the wind in your face is perfect..

I've traveled to more states & more countries to hunt hogs than anything else!
I'm one pig away from the Ham Slam (feral hog, European boar, javelina, forest hog, warthog & red river hog) I've never got, and never will get, a Red River. All the rest I've got!

I use to hunt central Ca. which is loaded with hogs. Before I stopped hunting in ca. I managed to bag five hogs, one at 255, two at 200 and two at 125. I stopped hunting ca. a few years back because I got sick of being hassled by game wardens for no reason what so ever. I have never been cited because as hard a they might they could never find anything I was in violation of. They are all just a bunch of wannabes. Sorry, ever time I think about why I stopped hunting in Ca. I get a little hot. In any event I did manage a few nice hogs before I gave up on Ca.

I’ve smacked them with a scatter blaster. Best hunts. Get close. I had a hoss within my barrel touching it this past spring while turkey hunting. It was still night time he must have smelled my vanilla perfume that was still on my clothes from deer season. He got the pass because it was just too cool, but I was ready to let it rip if he got frisky. Big boy, I could see his tail in the moonlight and smell his piggy smell.
That was a great hunt. I could have blasted a big boar and a couple jake turkey at point blank range but my best friend and I made a pact that we only shoot mature toms. Plus all the fun is calling them in within 5 yards.
There’s a ton of hogs in Texas.

One of my reasons as well.
Guilty until proven innocent is how they think.

I've shot well over a Hundred but my Crowning achievement was a 9 pounder with my AR.
Rotisserie on the grill..
It was a 2fer sitting in a lawn chair watching a Dim road full of Oaks.
