5 pin vs Single pin

I’ve called elk for guys that buggered elk coming in by adjusting their one pin sight- opportunity lost

Like myself and others have said. You don’t want to move that single pin in a hunting situation for anything under 40 yds. My bow is an older carbon element and I shoot 482 grain arrows. I aim right at the animal from 40 yds and in. It takes a bit to learn this method. Overall, you need to shoot with what makes you happy and confident whether it’s fixed multiple, 3 pin slider, or single pin slider.

I shot a horizontal multi pin for close to 20 years before trying a single pin slider. Ten plus years now and for me there's no going back. The big thing is knowing and practicing your over and unders. Both sight types have cost me animals.
