Know anything about Uintah rifles/bolt uppers?

In a moment of weakness at 2:30am trying to get the babies to sleep knowing I need to be up in a few hours, I bought a Uintah AR-15 bolt action upper for the 22 ARC. I want a 22 ARC and it seemed like a fun setup I could toss onto my AR-15 lower...
After getting some rest, a few days later, I reconsider as I need to re-barrel a 22-250. I will just get a 22 ARC barrel! I send them an email and ask them to cancel the order. A day later (this evening). I have an email from UPS letting me know a package is on the way from Uintah.

Fortunately, they have a 30 day return policy. I will probably be calling them tomorrow to see if they can just turn the package around.

Is there a reason I should not turn it around? It would get me shooting the 22 ARC quicker (but cost more than a barrel swap). I cannot find any "real people with real results". Just some low quality videos by them and a handful of YouTube guys I have never heard odmf before for the most part.

Are these things slicker than snot or should I just swap out a barrel?

I have a Uintah upper in a 300blk that I had them cut to 8” for a SBR lower. The system work well, I don’t have issues feeding/cycling or anything. It’s also accurate. The only thing I don’t like the handgaurd. It’s functional but ugly and doesn’t flow with the lines of the receiver well. It’s been on my list to replace since any AR handguard will work, but have had other projects ahead of that since this is just a “fun” gun….

And suppressed subs out this upper is super fun. Mouse fart quiet.
