Going to be jumping in the draw. Anyone ever hunted with muzzleloader there? Maybe it will improve my "luck of the draw".

I've grown old applying for Antelope in NM.
Yep, even the muzzleloader hunts.
I'd say 15 years now, no luck.

Yes, but I won't know if I don't ever try. from all I've gathered It's all luck. I was hoping that there was maybe one person that has drawn a muzzleloader tag chime in.
Still trying to decide which units in Wyoming I might try also.

You also have to think that the Pronghorn draw in its current state is only 3 years old. I drew a rifle tag in 2018, the last year of the A-PLUS (Private Land Use System) where you were assigned to a private ranch if you drew in the public draw. Ever since that was scrapped there are only a handful of non-resident tags available in any given unit.

There are units with "technically" better draw odds with a rifle. Not to mention that there are only 4 units with Muzzleloader seasons giving out a total of 10 non-resident tags between those 4 units. The best draw odds for any of those being 2.9%.
